How to Read an Image

Ages 11–15

Can a single image carry more than one meaning? Taking inspiration from the exhibition Vantage Point 13, layer a photograph with drawings, symbols and words. Reconstruct its meaning from your own perspective, creating a visual work that demonstrates how simple elements can change the way an image is read.
